Introducing Loop: Ashford's new place to go

Something exciting is landing at Elwick Place, Ashford, on 27 November 2026.

The Ashford Cinema is becoming Loop: a new all-day entertainment and lifestyle destination where cinema, food and drink, social games, live events and flexible workspace all come together.

Cinema will remain at the heart of Loop, but there will be even more ways to spend your time. Drop in for coffee and a spot of work, catch a family film, challenge friends to a game, enjoy dinner and drinks, or make a night of it with live entertainment.

Over the past two years, The Big Picture has breathed new life into the business, increasing admissions by more than 25% and helping to secure the cinema’s long-term future as a buzzing town-centre destination. Loop is the exciting next chapter.

A visit for every mood

Ready to play? Loop will feature 11 different social and interactive experiences, including bowling, golf simulators, interactive darts and karaoke.

The fun continues with a packed programme of comedy, live music and quizzes. Community activities will range from Pilates, yoga and salsa to chess tournaments and Dungeons & Dragons – so there really will be something for every interest.

Feeling hungry? Choose from pizzas, burgers, sharing dishes and sides, plus a wide selection of drinks. Whether you’re grabbing a bite, meeting friends or settling in for the evening, the impressive central bar will provide a lively spot for everything from a casual drink to cocktails with friends.

Need to get things done? Flexible workspace will offer half-day and full-day passes, as well as membership options, giving people a fresh place to work, meet or take a break from the traditional office.
