Sunday 1st October between 10am and 2pm on the lower High Street will be packed with local traders selling a variety of autumn seasonal produce just for you.
It's harvest time and the season's produce is getting decidedly autumnal. With root vegetables and orchard fruit at its best, now is the time to enjoy local apples and blackberries, as well as celeriac and swede.
Snap up fruit and vegetables from PJ Produce, soft breads from Gary’s Artisan Bakery and international treats from The French Delicatessen. Simply Biltong will also be at the market offering delicious hand-dried and cut beef jerky and biltong.
We are also delighted to welcome two new traders to our October market!
Ashford Emporium will be offering up a selection of handmade knitted gifts, and Mollie’s Garden will have a variety of plants and flowers.
If you’re looking for a bite to eat, head over to Jays Soul Food for a tasty snack, or perhaps a sweet treat from the Coffee and Waffle Wagon. Refreshing ciders and beers will also be available from Romney Marsh Brewery and Gibbet Oak Cider.
In addition, there will be music from DJ Gideon who will be playing classic 50s and 60s tunes on vinyl, and watch local Morris Men perform some toe-tapping dancing!
Don’t forget there is free parking all day in Edinburgh Road car park for visitors.
