Revelation Ashford are recruiting a part-time Production & Volunteer Coordinator and a Finance & Admin Coordinator to join their vibrant arts organisation.
Following the refurbishment of St Mary’s Church in 2011 to create a flexible multi-use space, Revelation has become a focal point for the arts in Ashford and with its distinctive setting, one of the most exciting small venues in the country.
The venue has hosted nationally and internationally acclaimed musicians such as Aurora Orchestra, VOCES8, Courtney Pine, Gaz Coombes, St Agnes Fountain, Martin Simpson and Fairport Convention. Future plans for 2017 include high profile names and emerging artists, as well as our Made in Kent, Fireside and The Big Reveal strands.
Each year Revelation promotes around 25-30 events at St Mary’s Church, around 20 performances on Ashford Bandstand and in town centre spaces, and hosts a stage at Create Festival.
Both posts offer the opportunity to influence how Revelation develops to meet the cultural aspirations of this fast-growing town, work autonomously with the support of a small team and get involved in a variety of events.
Information about Revelation, the job description and person specification are available at http://revelationashford.co.uk/hire-us/.
The closing date for applications is Monday 20 March at 9am.
