Ashford’s annual Create Festival is currently scouting for talent for it’s 2016 line-up.

The free musical festival, set to celebrate it’s 21st birthday on Saturday 23rd July, is currently accepting applications from artists wanting to perform at this years event.

Organisers are encouraging artists from all genres of music, whether they be a band or choir, DJ, singer-songwriter or performance poets, to apply for a place in the final line-up before April 1st 2016.

To apply, simply visit the official Create website and fill in the Apply to Play page.

Last year over 300 applications were submitted with just 40 chosen acts being picked from the pool of talent.

This years festival hopes to be bigger then ever, moving from the Sunday to the Saturday to cater for public demand. 2015 welcomed more than 5,000 people through the Create gates to see acts including 80’s star Adam Ant. With high hopes for an even better 2016, Create are expecting to see a record number of submissions this summer.
