Why not make this Mother’s Day extra special for mum by treating her to the delights of Ashford Farmers’ Market?
This Sunday offers the perfect opportunity to treat your mum to a sweet treat; perhaps fluffy marshmallows from Marshmallow Heaven, an iced delight from Deelicious Cupcakes, or flavoursome fudge from The Fudge Man. Or, if the super mum in your life loves chocolate, why not spoil her to some creamy handmade truffles from Cocoabel, a local confectionery business specialising in luxury chocolates.
This month’s market is delighted to welcome Marsh Produce who specialise in locally reared meats including duck, dexter and lamb. They will also have some succulent sausages on offer too.
Visitors will be welcomed to browse a range of fresh vegetables from PJ Produce, creamy cheeses from the award-winning Cheesemakers of Canterbury, as well as juicy olives and Mediterranean delights from Millbank Olives. There will also be a delicious range of fruity and spicy tea blends from the Proper Tea Co, including coconut, mango, cinnamon and even liquorish.
What’s more, local musician DJ Gideon will be back playing classic 50s and 60’s tunes on vinyl, as well as performances from local guitarist and singer, Nathan Walker.
The market will take place on Sunday 6th March between 10am and 2pm on the Lower High Street.
Don’t forget there will also be FREE parking for customers in Edinburgh Road car park.
