To celebrate the relaunch of the Genifique Serum and Eye Pearl #loveyourage campaign, we asked Lancome expert and Make-up Artist, Hannah, to give us an inside look at Lancome’s makeovers and free makeup lessons to help us get the best out of our makeup!
Lovely bride to be, Lorna, came along for a makeup trial with Hannah for her wedding and agreed to let us document her bridal-makeover. What a sport!
Lorna was looking for something natural that enhanced her features and that would keep her looking fresh-faced for her big day.
Here’s how Lorna’s look was achieved:
Hannah started by cleansing Lorna’s skin so it was perfectly clean before applying the Genifique serum and Eye Pearl to the skin around her eyes.
Hannah used La Base primer before applying Teint Idole Ultra 24 foundation. Hannah said,
La Base is a great primer because it’s not tinted and completely oil-free. It allows the foundation to sit on a smooth surface all day long. Also, this foundation will give Lorna a lasting finishing that will take her right up to the evening party!
We loved Lorna’s fresh faced look and think she will make a truly beautiful bride!
We asked Hannah if she could give us a taster of the free makeup lessons that Lancome offer. You can book yourself in for a 5-15 minute slot at the Lancome counter in Debenhams, Ashford and ask them for advice on anything, from lashes and eye-liner to getting the best out of your brows.
Lucy, Cosmetics Manager at Debenhams, agreed to model for an Eyes Made Easy appointment at the Lancome counter.
Here’s how her striking look was achieved:
After cleansing around the eye area, Hannah applied a dab of Eye Pearl to illuminate and refresh the look of the skin. She then used Teint Miracle Corrector to highlight the eye and under the brow.
I used these colours on Lucy because they are the best palette to bring out her green eyes. This time we went for an ‘intense’ look as Lucy loves her bold colours but there are lots of different techniques that we can cover and help you to recreate.
The Eyes Made Easy lessons take just a 15 minute booking with a Lancome expert and are great if you’re in need of some tips to achieving a quick evening transformation.
