Visitors are in for a treat because this year Ashford is welcoming Chase and Marshall from PAW Patrol to this year’s Festive Family Fun Day on Saturday 18th November in Ashford town centre.

We are delighted once again to host another fabulous Festive Family Fun day where people can enjoy a whole day of Christmas activities, then see the town gleam with Christmas lights as it slowly gets darker.

The Festive Family Fun Day was suggested by local Ashford traders and incorporates and supports local shops and businesses by bringing in residents and visitors for a full day of festive fun where they can enjoy the activities on offer, browse the shops and kick-start their Christmas shopping. Starting Saturday 18th November, the lights will be in the afternoons and evenings in the run up to Christmas.

More information about the Festive Family Fun Day will be revealed in the coming weeks, so make sure you keep an eye out on all the latest news via, but for now here’s a teaser of what we have in store:

  • Families can visit Chase and Marshall from PAW Patrol as they make personal appearances in County Square shopping Centre and the High Street at intervals between 11:30am and 4.30pm. Make sure you bring a camera as photo opportunities will be available.
  • Revelation Ashford is organising a packed programme of music on the town centre bandstand throughout the day to add to the festive atmosphere
  • Keep a look out for Rapunzel from Ashford Theatre’s pantomime.
  • Father Christmas is coming to town – Park Mall to be exact!
  • You can grab plenty of great gift ideas from all your favourite stores across the town centre; visit to find out more.
  • Starting the 18th November, the lights will be on from midday to midnight in the run up to Christmas.

There's still plenty more to be revealed including a fabulous Christmas competition in Park Mall. Make sure you keep an eye out on for all the latest news and updates.

The event, organised by Ashford Borough Council, is supported by Park Mall, County Square, Ashford Town Centre businesses and CS Mitchell LTD.
