Ashford Farmers' Market is back with another monthly event on Sunday 5th March.

The monthly market takes place on the lower high street from 10am -2pm, where market visitors can browse and buy from a selection of local traders selling fresh produce including meat, vegetables, fudge, cakes and homemade bread.

As guinea fowl and purple sprouting broccoli are in season this month why not pick up a fresh cut of wild meat from Stour Valley Game and fresh vegetables from PJ Produce to make a hearty stew.

If you're heading to the market for a bite for lunch, pay a visit to Janet’s Soul Food where you can pick up a hot savoury snack, or pop over to The French Delicatessen to try some international treats.

Sunday visitors will also be treated to original songs from acoustic singer/songwriter, Fred Clark, as well as classic 50s and 60s tunes from DJ Gideon.
