Last month Ashford Farmers’ Market celebrated its 2nd birthday with a fabulous day in the sunshine. The market celebrated in style with help from their regular much-loved traders and guest traders too for an extra-special bumper market.
Visitors were given fabulous freebies when visiting the Loveashford stall, including a special market calendar, created just for the 2nd birthday milestone.
This month the market is back with plenty of tasty treats from local stallholders. Visitors can pick up fresh vegetables, artisan breads and sweet treats. What’s more, there will be fresh pieces of locally sourced meat from Stour Valley Game and Ritoweg Farm.
A handful of new guest traders will also be joining us this month. If you’re looking for a refreshing cold drink, head over to Gibbet Oak Cider who will be offering up their Tenterden-brewed cider to tempt visitors. There will also be a delicious selection of chocolates from Quirky Truffles, freshly ground coffee from Flint Coffee and plenty of gluten-free sweet treats from Teffy.
This month listen to local singer/songwriter Nick Lawrence, as well as classic 50’s tunes by DJ Gideon on Vinyl as you browse the stalls and soak up the sunshine.
The market will be held on Sunday 7th August from 10am to 2pm on the Lower High Street. Don’t forget there will also be FREE PARKING for customers in Edinburgh Road car park and on the high street.
