Returning to the Lower High Street, the market will be held on Sunday 1st March from 10am to 2pm. As always, the market will have a wide range of delicious local produce on offer. This month you can pick up lean meats from Stour Valley Game and Mediterranean specialities from Milbank Olives, as well as homemade goodies from Lil Tea Tank and sweet treats from award-winning confectioner, The Fudge Man. If you love pancakes then make sure you pay a visit to Kent in Crepe where you can pick up a delicious sweet or savoury pancake made from locally sourced ingredients. What better way to enjoy your five-a-day than in a hearty and healthy vegetable curry? Pop along to the Chef Demonstration tent to watch a tasty vegetarian curry being prepared and even taste a free sample. As you browse the stalls and soak up the buzzing atmosphere, enjoy live music from award-winning country rock busker, Nathan J Walker. Nathan, who performed at February’s Farmers’ Market, has played at many charity events in Ashford as well as local and international festivals.
