On Saturday 20th August, the fun continued in Ashford’s town centre with the Healthy High Street’s (HHS) 5 Weeks of summer event.
The calendar of child-friendly fun was launched on August 6th with the Ashford Pirate Treasure Trail. Shoppers visiting the high street were welcomed with music on the band stand from Revelation St Marys, a craft and colouring tent run by Wilko volunteers and the opportunity to win a prize when completing the Pirate Treasure Trail.
This Saturday, Park Mall was home to Cookery Doodle Doo run by local lady Pam Hunt. The day was spent letting kids decorate cupcakes and making frushi whilst mum’s and dad’s enjoyed the newly regenerated centre.
On Saturday 27th August, the HHS team will welcome The Practically Perfect Party Princess into Park Mall where Disney princesses will meet and greet local shoppers. Catch them in Park Mall from 11am – 3pm and maybe doing some shopping in the high street too!
