After taking over the Chilli Bite back in October, new owner Trevor plans to close the deli over Easter to make some much needed improvements.

The popular lunch-time spot, situated on Ashford’s High Street just off St Mary’s Churchyard, is scheduled to be closed to customers from 24th - 29th March.

Staff plan to reopen to customers Tuesday 29th March after the Easter break, with some updates made to the main downstairs seating area.

Local man and business owner, Trevor spoke to loveashford about his plans for the future of the deli.

After dreaming of owning his own tea rooms, Trevor plans to eventually introduce afternoon teas to the menu and a choice of meals that hope to entice customers to stay for dinner during the town’s evening trade.

Trevor explained,

Over the Easter weekend, improvements will be made to the decor of the customer seating area and lighting, adding to the cosy atmosphere and making better use of the space. Subtle changes will be made over time to update the look inside and enhance the overall customer experience.
