See The Snowman and the Snowdog
Meet The Snowman™ and the Snowdog as they make appearances in County Square shopping centre at intervals between 10:30am - 4:00pm.
Watch the Father Christmas' parade
12 noon-2pm (Starting at Bank Street)
We welcome Father Christmas to Ashford in style with a fabulous festive parade! See his sleigh move through the town, complete with elves, local dance schools and street entertainers.
Visit Father Christmas
3pm-5pm (Park Mall)
We’ve created a cosy grotto complete with twinkly lights and snowy surroundings to welcome Father Christmas to town! Children can meet Father Christmas and receive a hand-wrapped present. Admission costs £2 per child and families can find the grotto adjacent to The Little Teapot in Park Mall.
Music on the bandstand
11am - 4pm
We’re in for a treat when it comes to entertainment because Revelation Ashford is organising a packed programme of music on the town centre bandstand.
Christmas Craft Market
Park Mall 10am - 5pm
Find unique gift ideas at the Christmas arts and crafts market in Park Mall.
The Salvation Army Brass Band & Soup Station
11am-3pm (Lower High Street)
Listen to brass band music and enjoy a delicious cup of hot soup, courtesy of The Salvation Army.
Games and street entertainers
11am -12pm (Bank Street)
Children can enjoy fun festive games with some of Father Christmas’ elves! Keep an eye out for Christmas characters who will be walking through the town, adding more festive fun to the day!
The Christmas lights, which deck the town, will twinkle! You’ll be able to see them gleam even brighter by the afternoon and evening; in the meantime enjoy all the festive activities the town has to offer.
