From Monday 15th June non-essential retail will be reopening across the country and in Ashford Town Centre shops and businesses are preparing to welcome customers following the government’s latest guidance. Please be aware that individual businesses and shopping centres will have their own social distancing measures in place and that queueing will be essential for some businesses and services.

To help keep our shoppers and store staff safe please remember to:

✔️Abide by government social distancing regulations
✔️Follow in-store signage advising of any one-way systems
✔️Wash your hands often and use hand sanitiser stations at Park Mall and Elwick Place
✔️Wear a face mask when visiting the town centre using public transport to help protect yourself and those around you

Car Parks

Elwick Place and Edinburgh Road car parks will be open as usual from Monday 15th June with contactless payment via the RingGo app. Please download this app, it only takes a few minutes.

Public Toilets

The public toilets in Ashford Town Centre located on New Rents will be open again from Monday 15th June.

Ashford Borough Council has increased cleaning, including that of public toilets and benches. There will be one-way systems in place to ensure social distancing can be maintained in narrow areas, such as Park Mall and County Square in Ashford.

Many businesses across the borough have been badly affected by the coronavirus outbreak, please support your local high street and town centres in the borough.
