The draft Local Plan for the borough sets out the land that needs to be provided in the borough to accommodate new homes and jobs up to 2030.
Cllr Paul Clokie, portfolio holder for planning and development, said: “We are now almost halfway through the consultation period on the ‘Main Changes’ proposed to our draft Local Plan, however there is still time to get involved.
“Residents can come along to one of our events, go onto our website to find out more about what is proposed, and then take part in the consultation to ensure their views are included.”
The council is holding a series of Local Plan consultation exhibitions where residents can view the ‘Main Changes’ to the draft Local Plan to 2030 and speak to council officers about the proposals put forward.
