This Sunday saw the last Ashford Farmers’ Market of the year, set to be the biggest and most festive of them all; market shoppers were not left disappointed.
Stalls were adorned with Christmas lights as shoppers bustled through to get a taste of the festive treats on show.
There was even a special appearance from a certain Mr & Mrs Clause, who kindly dished out loveashford totes for customers to fill with delicious goodies and gifts.
Naked Espresso kept us all warm with fresh coffee and mulled wine, there was Spanish paella to fill our bellies and fresh popcorn from Jay’s to sweeten things up.
The crisp air was filled with the bubbly sounds of Miss Holiday Swing, who captured passers-by and shoppers mingling amongst the stalls; picking up seasonal fruits and vegetables, special packs of Romney Marsh Brewery beer, chocolates, mead, fudge, meat and the occasional mince pie, of course!
The colorful stand over at Taylormade Vodka was lit up like a Christmas tree and there were other gifts up for grabs from Bo Peep Balms, Emporia Fabric & Craft and Roger Hills Wood Turning too.
The Christmas market was the last for 2015 but Ashford Farmers’ Market traders will be back in the new year in February.
