This excellent youth facility can be found adjacent to the Skate Park and Stour Centre on Tannery Lane.
Operated by a voluntary sector organisation, Sk8side CIC, the team run a range of programmes for young people age 13-19 (up to 25 for those with disabilities) which provide ‘things to do’. They also support with a wide range of issues and concerns which can affect young people and which hinder their transition into adult life. This can include information on housing, careers, sexual health, drug and alcohol and much, much more.
Visit the skate retail project to purchase your latest board or bike and meet the youth workers who are always keen to welcome new people to the centre.
Sk8side also offers free positive activities and trips during school holidays.
