Wxman Up Ashford is running a vigil called Reclaim These Streets to make a stand against Violence Against Women and Girls, on International Women’s Day weekend, as part of the Womxn Up Ashford programme of events.
Starting from 16:00 meeting outside Harpers Cafe (by the play park), join the peaceful, reflective procession around the accessible paths in the bottom of the park, before gathering at the fountain from 16:30 for some fantastic Spoken Word, some of which will be created at the Park Write sessions that very morning at Harper’s Cafe.
The event is FREE and there's no need to book.
